I plan to make my game with python, but because of the way python is packaged any exe I make will flag most of the commonly used anti-virus software. Would you prefer me to package my game as an exe or as it's base python file? If I do the latter you will need to download python in order to open it.

well, you can do whatever you want but of course, if your game is easy to start, more people will play it

an exe may scare some people (myself included)

a python file may be unpractical to many people

a web version is best, but in your case that doesn't seem to be an option
