Nice simple game! Good use of the 1 button limit. Would be cool if there was a score for passing through the spikes so we could see how far we get.  Well done!

The movement is cool but I think you could move the background like another person said

Something about the background movement is making me a bit nauseous when playing. (old person problems?)

I didn't find any bugs trying to break this game :) 

I think you should make the background move at the same speed as spikes so it looks like the player is moving forward.

That's a good start, maybe you'd want to update it?

If so, I'd suggest to display a score (and maybe store somewhere a high score) so I could now if I'm doing good (and better after a few tries).

Also, the background is a bit hypnotizing :D maybe dimmer stars could make it more easy on the eyes!
