Hello all,

I am relatively new to game dev and dont know much of the game genres.  I was doing some search on this topic and got things like the amount of color used for your game or something about the processor used.

I guess it would be better if we clarify this from you. What makes a game 16-bit?

A 16-bit game is a game that runs on 16-bit processor and 16-bit are more pixelated and retro style cause a 16-bit processor would not be able to run much games

I hope that answers your question

No, not really. Sorry, but I mean we don't have 16-bit processors anymore. So I guess by more pixelated you mean something that brings that Sonic nostalgia?  I cant really draw so my sprites are mostly 16x16 would that count like 16-bit?

Yeah That seems fine let me just ask my partner if that's okay

And thanks for joining : )
