I can see this being a fun local multiplayer game (I guess if you happen to have a bunch of keyboards lying around). I really like the overall feeling of energy and haste that comes from the gameplay, the music and the graphics. I don't use a Qwerty layout and you would think it would make things difficult but I'm also a touch typist and the left/right thing didn't cause me any problems - I was more affected by my slow reaction time. I did, however, run into a couple of cases where the CTRL key would not register at all and I was locked out of the game. I would think about removing the CTRL anyway because it has different importance on different systems and it's awkward to reach on a Mac.
