Nice game and great competitor. I think it won't effect if switch side is left / right instead above / below. Even control same pawn in two separate room still work. So above or below doesn't matter much in my opinion.
Thanks for the comment and critique! Yes, if the second field is somewhere to the side, the meaning will not change much. But then you will need to fix the camera and turn off the lighting so as not to confuse the player with different rays. If you constantly simplify everything, you will end up with a cellular automaton :)
Big changes will only be in perception. If the player always sees 2 fields it will make the game much easier. Now you need to remember the position of the objects and predict where the pawn will be.
I mean it will still work in some way. As you said, I think left/right switch still work exactly as you want.
P.s: I'm talking about game mechanics
Yes, but games consist not only of mechanics, plot, lore, sound, atmosphere, gravity, controls... If "As above so below" is only related to the mechanics, you will have to remove 90% of the application :)
Fortunately, this is not the case, and people can display the theme in everything, from sound to the plot of the game)
Yes, and as I said this very nice and great competitor to me ;)
Incredible designs, your game is really polished.
Thank you!)
