Cool game! This is definitely a psychological horror game because there is nothing scarier than turning around and there's a ball right there. How does the scoring system work? I couldn't really figure that out.
Thank you! The scoring system is time survived+block turned black+100*white balls killed, which are the three things that players do while gaming.
(This is what Splatoon could be, if only nintendo had the balls)
Super simple, fun, and endless! I like how the player is always in motion, and I like how the balls are endless.
It's also funny how high you can jump, it's great jumping 12 feet in the air
Well done! Simple and fun!
For some reason the balls taking up the entire screen as they approach you is terrifying as hell 10/10 was on the edge of my seat the entire time. On my first playthrough I was scared of the balls and looked forward the entire time to prevent running into balls unknowingly, so I didn't actually notice the mechanic that if a white ball runs into your trail, they turn red and disappear. I think some sort of tooltip to point it out would be cool, but it could also be discovered organically, I might just not be so observant. The concept is pretty cool like some sort of reverse paper.io/Minecraft Spleef, and with some visual polish it could be fun as that kind of game!
I’m so glad that you found it terrifying because I was trying to create this mood. And, yes, I should have mentioned that the black trail kills the white balls. If I had time, I would have tried to improve the visual part and make the visual “weirdly horrible “. Thank you for playing and giving me suggestions. It means a lot to me!
