2023 AMES Game Showcase Contest!!!

Prompt for the 2023 Game Showcase is:

"Rituals and Habits"

You've got habits (your personal "defaults" which would translate to a 'flow' state) and rituals (which are deliberate choices) and trying to balance them out. A starting thought would be to think about it is "keep players in flow" during levels but then "meaningful choice" during key points/ boss battles/etc (you don't have to do it that way, but it's a good starting point).

 Submission Guidelines:

Teams should Join the Jam (click the Join Jam button) as soon as possible to be informed of updates/changes/etc to the Jam. Please use an email address that will be checked regularly! Pages can be created, and projects updated as many times as you want, so update frequently!

Project should be completed by teams in High School CTE Programs. Teams of Five or Smaller are required. 

A Complete Project includes:

• The Game - Either downloadable from or playable inline on your Itch.io page
• A short video (screen capture is 100% fine!) walking through gameplay, design decisions, etc. 10 minute maximum, linked and/or embedded in your itch.io page
• An itch.io page with (as a minimum) the game, video, instructions and identifies school participants are from
