I liked the idea of controlling a jetpack with to keys, it fits very well the two buttons limitations, the particles system for the jetpack stream was also very cool.
The sprite of the player is pretty cool, as is the plant sprite, but I don't they match with the rest of the game.
The music was pretty good. But the game could use some sound effects.
Which song(s) did you choose for the theme and how did you incorporate it/them?
Lights Out
Which parts of the game did you create BEFORE the jam STARTED?
None
Which parts of the game did you NOT create?
The game is based on the templete platform game Hedgehog Apocalypse by Rex van der Spuy, I did NOT create the clouds in the background, the collision handling, the rendering, and the movement of the monsters. All the rest I created such as music, graphics and the jet pack physics and controls.

The maneuvering feels pretty good with just the 2 buttons. Would have been cool to have a few levels. Nice work.
Thank you for trying out my game. I will add some levels.
Good idea. The implementation could be better, but it's a cool game.
Thank you. Yes, there are some things to improve obviously :)
Brilliant idea and a difficult game. It's a shame that, as you said, most of it wasn't done during the jam.
Thanks! Just to clarify, the the game is based on a template platform game called Hedgehog Apocalypse. I made the jet pack controls and physics, as well as the music and all the graphics except the sky and the clouds.
Ah, ok, thanks for clarifying that.
I had to click on the game before it would accept keyboard input, but then it worked great.
I really like the skill element of the jetpack controls. With a scrolling screen and some hazards, you could make a really challenging game out of this!
Thank you for your ideas!
Game not working, when i press the arrow it does nothing
Hmm... that's strange. It works on my computer. You should use the left and right arrow keys with key codes 37 and 39. Press both keys simultaneously to take off.
