I thought the game was really adorable! The graphics are nice and cute! :D The dialogues were really funny and I loved the puns! xDD The Cosmic horror seems to be the octopus-like creature, and I love how the mystery unveiled itself in a very comedic manner when it avoided the question "if you're so badass? Why haven't you escaped yourself yet" something alone those lines. xD :D The battle mechanics were unique, since you can fight and talk to 'em Undertale-esque. Though I would probably speed up the battle a bit. ;) Overall, this was a fun game that gave me a chuckle here and there!! Great job to the dev! <3

Kind of cute and strange little character, and the (mostly) one dimensional movement and evented on map play style really sets it apart from your average RPGM games. The biggest flaw to me is the gameplay. Combat is slow and totally one dimensional. Aside from making sure to heal once in a while, there is almost no strategy in battles. Attack until you have low health, then heal. Although its cool that the combat is evented, it goes really slow, and for long bosses, it just feels like a slow crawl.

Story had some cool parts. Pretty strange overall, but I enjoyed seeing it through to the end. Unfortunately, it really doesn't strike me as cosmic horror. Aside from octopi being linked to Cthulhu, and the octopus having some mysterious power, it really gave me no vibes of horror at all.

Quirky game with both an original art style and combat system, but too slow and one-dimensional to be considered fun game play.
