Honestly, I think this is one of the best submissions to the jam. Slick concept, easy to grasp, repeating is easy to do, and challenging enough to be an uphill (hah hah hah haaaahhhhhhhh) thing but not impossible enough to be frustrating.

If I had to point out one singular issue, the eyes could probably spawn a touch more? There were several moments where I launched myself up and nothing seemed to be up there from a cursory glance, leading to multiple situations where "well guess I'll eat shit" and either launch myself off a wall that wasn't nearby or fall straight into the ever-rising Tang Sauce.

But that's, like, nitpicking. And/or me missing something obvious. 10/10 as it is. 101/10. Rockets/10. Boom.

slick concept! great simple little game! I enjoyed the handwritten controls text--it was a nice touch.

shift and control both feel pretty questionable in terms of player agency. why would I ever stop holding shift? it only improves my performance. is the small utility in being able to adjust your controller height (unclear if this is from the bottom up or top down, which might have some kind of bhop potential) worth adding a whole extra key--left control--for the player to think about? if you raise the skill ceiling and make the movement system micro in a way that makes these inputs matter, this could be a deep and rewarding experience. on the other hand, you might want to delete them entirely.

one minor point: it's sort of unclear to me what triggers a 'lose' scenario. it might make more sense to just trigger this on contact with the bottom of the well, to improve readability. and/or add a reset key. every so often I get a bad spawn that I'd prefer to redo.

ah I see, the lava rises. difficult to make out!

I feel like the game is really close to feeling tight and clean, but struggles a bit with balance (eyeball spawns) and a few key collision bugs that dampen the experience. you might have to make a decision re: the value of gaining height via eyeballs vs the value of the rocket from the perspective of the player.

Great!  One of the handful of games that I will probably come back to and play later.  

Love how important the sound cues are for planning your next move and also how the rate in which spawns happen usually gives you an opportunity to breath and plan out your next move without stopping the pacing.  Some small criticisms: I did find that bouncing off eyes sometimes did not trigger a jump leading to death, and some of the spawns were a little cruel (like when they hover immediately over the eye I'm on).

Overall a well scoped game with a cohesive aesthetic.  Great job!

Took me awhile to figure out how to play. But once I did, I had fun (still not very good at it though XD). I also love the art style! It looks great.
My only issue is with how slow you move while in the air. Making it almost impossible to get to an eye if you were too far away from anything to rocket off of.
