I helped a man fulfill his lifelong dreams and then I cruelly took it away from him with a knife to the back. This game's a metaphor for life, if life had a pizzeria's carpet and you could only turn 90 degrees. I think all the naysayers who think that games can't be art were simply unable to try this out.
Yep, that’s about it at this point. Spent way more time trying to fix basic texture and map bugs (the minimap still only works correctly at the start of the game if played in Chrome? whyy) than adding events and items, but of course I’d like to move more in that direction in the future. Thanks for playing!
really digging this vibe. the carpet is the best part. or maybe it's the way the guy pronounces the word 'french'. voices are amazing. the writing scratched the surface of my soul. I've never seen the movie.
p.s.: i stabbed that guy in the back, and now i have grown to feel bad and sad about this decision. damn you videogames, and your choices, and your emotional gutpunches. damn you all to hell
I dunno what's going on but I love it. I got a bit stuck after giving the guy the paper I couldn't see what else I needed to do. I love the aesthetic tho. The limited view and basic controls has a retro charm :D
Haha, thank you! There’s not much else really. You can alternatively stab him in the back, but I didn’t get much of a quest in or anything during the prototype. Maybe in the future!

Superbly weird experience! Not sure if I finished it or not but tried out both the option of practicing my stabbing and handing over the note

when the music hit I was like 'ay'
Thank you very much – I’ll be sure to pass on your compliments to my pals who made the carpet texture and music track for me as well. :)
As far as the pronunciation of a certain line goes, there’s really no beating the original: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VFevH5vP32s
