Out of all the games I've played, this was certainly one of them.
That might sound like damning with faint praise, but the truth is that I'm really glad that this is an actual game and not just a tech demo. The movement handled nicely, the gun was responsive, enemies blowing up had a nice poof to them, this seems like a solid foundation for something bigger. It's a firm skeleton, a jumpy skeleton that continues to leap if you mash space in mid-air, but a skeleton nonetheless. I hope to see more!
Definitely on the simple side right now, but with this kind of voxel block aesthetic, one’s got to have destructible terrain, right? I hope you iterate in that direction if you do more with this in the future.
