Hello!

This is my first time participating in 7DRL, and jams in general. I'm 32 and have been working on a general purpose game engine in C# using SFML for a few years. I figured this was a good opportunity to test things out and see what I can improve on.

The game's concept was that you were a Kobold maid. Instead of normal "kill the monsters get the treasure" sort of game, I thought that cleaning a house with RL rules might be an interesting change of pace, eg sweeping and mopping. Failing attack rolls would mean increasing your stress, which could lead to broken or damaged furniture. Every day, dust would accumulate and you'd have to be careful not to track more dirt in after going outside.

Unfortunately, since this was my first production, my code quickly turned into spaghetti and implementing most of the features I wanted was basically impossible without better planning and better execution, and I'd have to start over. After 6 days, I figured that I should just polish what I have an call it a day.

As this was my first jam, I didn't even know this forum existed, or else I would have posted more progress as I went.

Thank you! For a first attempt I think it turned out okay. There's still a lot I can do better for next time
