Wasn't familiar with that type of puzzle game before, so it took me a while to figure out how to play it best. Once I figured it out, it was fun, though! Fluid gameplay, great animations and an authentic, but not too obtrusive chiptune soundtrack. Great job there!
Oh, Palamedes! the most obscure NES puzzle game everybody should know, made by people behind Shadow of the Ninja and Tokkyuu Shirei Solbrain, and published by a company that has somehow not died after releasing the kusoge that was Hoshi wo Miru Hito.
Fun! I was a little confused about the patterns at first, and I think some kind of tip or glowing blocks might help the player know if they have a good combo or not.
Very nice graphics (especially the castle in the background), and good sound effects. Most importantly for this genre, gameplay is addictive and the mechanic is original enough not to feel like a clone of any other Tetris-alike that I've played. I found the music a bit dull, but it's not bad, certainly better than anything I could compose. I'll probably keep coming back to this one a few times and see how far I can get.

Exactly! I thought it was very fitting and achievable in the small time frame. The only thing missing is 2 player mode.
