some friends and I are thinking about joining this game jam. We are not experienced at all in this and wanted to ask some questions if that is alright?

First of, how many people can be in our team? Is there a maximum size or can we just invite people on short notice to join our team?

And second, if we have to work for the full duration on the game. The problem is, some of us have other plans on the weekend so we talked about doing our own custom shortened deadline (maybe 8 hours or so). Is that allowed or is this type of thing not desired?

Finally, we wanted to know if there are other restrictions - aside from the the rules listed on the main pages - such as game engine or build target?

there isnt a maximum team size, but i would recommend to keep it small, as it wont be easy managing a 10 person team with 3 days

you can submit your game early, that’s fine by me, and if needed, you can submit late, just DM me on Discord if you need to submit late

there are no restrictions on game engine or build target, but it’s recommended to build it for web since anyone can easily run your game
