really nice for solo gamejam, diverse enemies, yet seems too difficult for me because of hitboxes

A Souls like game about a devil taking revenge from Enemy (knight) and grind to be more powerful

As a lot of people already mentioned a soulslike is pretty ambitious for a gamejam. You did well! Its fun to play. Damn those wizards though xD
Pretty ambition undertaking to make a souls game for the jam. I liked the enemy variety you went with. I appreciate that you made the enemies have less HP when you die (very souls-esque design choice there). I'm not sure why I couldn't dodge when moving backwards, that would have been very handy against the knight. Solid work overall!
Things I like:
- Huge undertaking! You managed to fit a nice combat system, a bit of progression, a boss fight and a very large 3D environment! For a solo game jam, that is commendable.
- Combat system is pretty good, with really nice looking animations. Controlling the character felt really good most of the time. I felt like the mouse sensitivity was a bit too high but that didn't really detract from the experience.
Thing that could improve:
- I praised the combat but some hitboxes were very wonky, especially that lightning bolt. Ogres also had these melee attacks I swear wouldn't hit me, but perhaps I was trying to outspace too hard given how the devil's weapon looks so short.
- I felt like some of the assets didn't fit together very well, the village, the wizards and the colorful trees and flowers made both the devil and the knight look a little off. Lighting and lack of effects didn't really help too but I guess I can't complain given the time constraints.
Nice work - The environment is huge!
Would be nice to have a sprint button, so it did feel sluggish at times...
I enjoyed playing it and it's a great achievement for the time frame :)
