- The game looks great, but could have used just a basic bgm. Nothing fancy just something. The name literally makes no sense, the gameplay is not balanced at all, enemies just attack already beaten characters over and over, obviously this needs more work. The visuals were good and the combat concept seems interesting but needs work.
What do you like about your game?
I sucked a lot at graphic design and UI, so I'm glad I was able to improve some in a couple weeks.

The art is really phenomenal great job
At this point I've watched this a couple times, admired the characters and saw how broken some of the gameplay is, but I'm late to the party on actually playing and reviewing the game. Fortunately, plenty of other comments have hit the main things (insane grind, no checkpoints [understandable for a jam]) and I know you've already fixed the "enemy attacks dead people bug"
I think the best thing about this game is that it breathes life into a 'VN-character' archetype (despite it not being a VN). You have kind of demoed a system that allows you to learn about and connect to a character outside of massive walls of text. I think if you wanted (and on possibly a different project), you could strike a really amazing balance between VN story elements and this combat/characterization system.
Congrats on the release.
Pretty good presentation, art is super detailed and pretty to look at. I like RPGs and I like dystopian cyberpunk cities with wacky neon colored characters. The only issue I had was that the gameplay was kind of lacking. It served it's purpose I suppose but it just didn't seem that fun to me. It also took me a while to realize that you can use the other party members, which I guess I should have noticed sooner but yeah, I think a small tutorial thing that teaches you how to actually play would have been nice, though I did figure it all out eventually. And of course, I'm sure many have pointed it out, but this game seriously needs some music and sound design, or at the very least sound effects for when you deal damage or are delt damage (and hey, if you ever plan on making something like this again or wanna expand this game and you need a composer, I could totally whip up some fire cyberpunk beats for ya if you'd like!) Overall, pretty good submission.
