It's looking like I won't be able to get my game in by the deadline...
Do you think we could get a separate jam for games finished after the deadline (like how Metroidvania Month does?)
It obviously wouldn't have prizes/winners or necessarily be played by judges, just a place where people who participated in the jam can see these games if they want to.
That's a wonderful idea and something I wish I had known about earlier but with how much is on my plate right now and with a lot of people who kinda gave up cause of the deadline I would feel bad to then say "Here's a thing to submit after the deadline". So, it's something I'll consider for next time!
If you want, you can upload the game to itch and then post the link in the discord server as an alternative but I don't know it gets really complicated when you factor in security and I don't want to be responsible for someone's pc getting destroyed by one bad actor (not saying you are but there are very crazy people).
