Objective use an unfinished game/idea to create a finished version but the rule said all assets must be created during the jam period??

So, are we allow to submit a finished version of unfinished game? Because that unfinished game used an asset that had been made few months ago. I find this objective quite a contradiction to the rule.

I've made a game few months ago, but I got demotivated and it just left there unfinished. When I saw this jam, I was thinking oh maybe I can brush this project off and make a finished demo version instead. However, I'm unsure of the rule and this is my first time participate in game jam like ever (and possibly one of my very first game post on itch io). So, I wanna be sure to follow a proper rules around here.

Additionally, the game is visual novel game made on renpy, will it be allow?

The objective of the jam is to make it completely fresh within the three day period. So you can't just take a build and polish it up. But there's some wiggle room with using pre-made assets, it's not like i could tell the difference.

awww i see, so it's a no then :(
