I've been thinking about this jam a lot and brainstorming about what I might try to make, and I'd love to share my thoughts and hear what other people have been thinking and planning!

I tweeted a bit about it here (https://twitter.com/litzabronwyn/status/1283999311571955713), but to sum up, I think my biggest challenge will not be going overboard with the options and keeping it to a reasonable size. I'm best at games that fall somewhere between 3-10 pages long, and I already know this is going to stretch that. I want to FINISH it though, and my long-windedness is the ENEMY.

In terms of mechanics, I think I'll use a 2d6 system, where 8 or higher is a success and 7 or lower is a failure, but I don't know that a lot of choices will really require a roll. I'll have to see what happens when I start writing.

I know I need a story that I already know really well, so I can write several paths through it, and I'm thinking about doing something Grimm's fairytale-ish, but I'm not completely sure yet...

I think it might be cool to collaboratively write sections of it as well - different authors do different branching paths. It's just one way that jumped out as an option to solve the problem of size and complexity!

I am always creeping with that scope and those features. It's a miracle I ever finish anything.
