I think TTRPG or board games are okay as long as they still feel adventure game-y! Something like Sherlock Holmes: Consulting Detective, or the Adventure Games series comes to mind.
I will say though, just as a consideration, that folks may be less likely to play if it requires multiple people to play, or if they don't have access to a printer for anything that's print and play. This might mean less people will vote on your game during the voting stage of the jam.
As long as you're okay with that - go for it! I would just suggest clearly signposting that it isn't a digital game on the submission page, so that folks know what to expect since most of the submissions are digital!
