Nice work Dan! I know you were dissapointed with the file size, but I expect with a bit more time you could have optimized it down to under 32.

I do like the music and sfx elements, it really adds to the oldschool vibe.

I killed Fisher a good few times though! A few nice random elements like the item placement. But I had a few games that seemed unwinnable. Maybe Im missing some mechanic, but one the alien sat itself in a I needed to get through I couldnt find a solution. But either way, I like the vibe of the game, it certainly seems like an interesting horror/puzzel game, nice work :)

I failed! 35kb... I spent so long on this and it was coming in at under 20k and then today when finally finishing it off I got 55kb!!! WTF?! Anyway, I can't be bothered to trim it down any further so consider this disqualified but give it a try anyway. I'm proud of the submission despite it being too big, but I'm excited to finally move onto something else now!

I had this problem I couple of times, I found that if I used one or two specific built-in functions that it would make the file-size much larger, I think it's because the compiler needs to import more libraries from BRUN45. Although it could be something totally different as this was my first time using QBasic, or anything developed before 1998 for that matter!
