How does your submission match the jam theme?
The monster causes the player's screen to saturate as it gets close. Thus the player can use their current screen saturation in order to determine how much danger they are in.

Oh, wow, I escaped (first half).  Very immersive, great UI, clear instructions which did not detract from the fear.  Beautiful space environment.  That shot as I escaped, with the alien clinging to the craft... !

There's two versions:

v1.0 was submitted in the time limit, but has a bug in it that prevents the AI from correctly following you in the second half (a dumb one line of code lol). Also you could immediately win the game by mashing E.

v1.1 was submitted a bit after the time limit (after having people play it, only about 10 mins of actual work), but has the dumb bug fixed. Also you can no longer insta-win :)
