We created a de-saturation effect post-process with a bright/saturated hue-shift material on pick ups, workers and enemies. Saturation level is the main game mechanic, pick up colour vials to fill up your sautration level and transfer it over to other workers to free them.

I shrieked out loud when I turned to check where the guard was and he was right behind me! Really well set up, perfect music for tense gameplay, very sad workers, clear simple effective UI, environment with atmosphere.
