This is what my game looked like I couldn't find the place from the screenshots. I think you've got the Steam VR plugin enabled because it kept launching alongside Steam VR. Shot some Turkeys, had fun. keep up the progress
I think SteamVR is enabled by default for all projects and you have to explicitly disable it, its annoying
