Mechanicool!

  • I love everything about your art, texture work is impeccable.
  • I too would also like knife to insta backstab or be useable with a gun equipped.
  • Movement felt good nice and snappy, Mouselook did not. Is there acceleration or something? Something felt off, almost like it's not 1:1.
  • I'm a dumbass, I missed the yellow keycard, DNF. But I likely will go back to it, since I had a lot of fun!

Mechanicool!

  • My only major issue was readability. Would love to be able to see my health at a glance.
  • VFX, SFX and all around the art was fantastic.
  • Gameplay felt great, killen bugs was a lot of fun
  • Rotary gun is awesome.
  •  It doesn't show in the vid, but I got major screen tearing in full-screen mode, please add vsync.

Good to see you've made progress on the character creation. The rat fellas are cool, recruiting them is even cooler. Something happened at the end and my weapons weren't doing any damage.

You're right, its very barren of anything, especially gameplay at the moment. Originally, it was made for the Dying MMO gamejam.
Minigames are a good idea, eventually I would like to have a text parser of some description and have the NPCs react to what you type.

Thanks for playing anyway!

You would have been trying forever to reach those Islands, as currently they are just a background texture. This game was originally made for the Dying MMO game jam, so it is empty and rushed. Thankyou for playing reguardless, I'm glad the aesthetics work and may build upon this base.

Thanks for playing!
This was originally for the Dying MMO gamejam and it was very rushed.
As for the text, the "lore" is that the game servers are shutting down, and you are experiencing the last moments before they close, so it is technically set in current times. Stupidly, I forgot to mention this anywhere in game.
There's not anything else to do besides walk around and explore. I haven't tested it on Linux, but I'm happy to see it works somewhat.

  • Really fun arcadey drive-em-up.
  • Can't wait to try a more fleshed out racing mode, on the current racetrack I found it difficult to stay on course.
  • Great AI!

This is neat!

How the hell did I get here?

Lots of cool stuff going on here:

  • I liked how you approached "shooting"  with the bucket, the way it moves to the camera is a nice touch.
  • The music  is wintery sweet and hum-able.
  • Art is good, very cute characters.
  • Settings are always nice to see in  jam games.

    Great work!

First of all, I gotta say this game has a whole lot of charm! The whole beginning sequence is fantastic! However I couldn't progress  because I received an error.  After inspecting the policeman I then clicked on the microphone and  this popped up.

I'm playing on Windows 10, Nvidia GPU and AMD CPU. If that helps.

Love the aesthetics! Reminds me of Planetside 1 or Halo CE. I found the controls were a bit funky but I read your game page and you've done a great job for a lone dev. If you wanna be apart of a team for another jam add me on Discord HAID#8572

Thankyou! The snowy area was planned to be much bigger but alas, time constraints.

Thankyou glad you enjoyed it! Hopefully playing Dossip was a gladfull time to remember. :)

YES!!! Vapourwave  was an inspiration for sure. Thankyou for the comment!

Thankyou! We planned to add more to the world but alas, ran out of time.  There are a few hidden things though like behind stuff and certain triggers that  will do neat things.

I enjoyed this quite a bit. As the world melted it ended looking very beautiful!

This looks really rad-i-cool!!  But i couldn't get past the start screen for some reason at the start. Clicking on the start button or the exit button did nothing, Luckily for me though you uploaded the Development build so i could access the levels through ServerTravel command.

When i got into the actual game it was just as rad-i-cool as i expected. Great job!

Loved the music and art! The names are so adorable.  I got stuck at the looping shrubs/bushes. Regardless I still enjoyed the game!

Thank you so much for playing! You are spot on with the 70's date. Definitely a source of inspiration. A lot of the dialogue was rushed for the jam and the UI was a little buggier in your playthrough than we found in testing.

Fun

Hmmm I've searched the error and maybe your antivirus software could be causing the issueLink 2.

It seems like people also get this error if they don't extract the game files before trying to play?

Thankyou so much for playing our game! I've subscribed to your channel too, looking forward to more videos!

Oooh yes! I think our buggy buddies would fit right in.

Thankyou for the comment! our character designer bean did a fantastic job!

Thankyou for playing! Yes you're completely right.

Yes haha it was supposed to be him awkwardly camouflaging into the background.

Thankyou! Glad you enjoyed it!

And you found the secret alien dialogue! you are the first person I know who has found it unprompted so congratulations!

Thankyou for playing our lil demo! And yes our puns do pack a PUNch and we have a bunch!

What exactly did the error say? I might be able to help you get it to run.

Love the little ants in their armour.  I had a bit of difficulty navigating. The ants would sometimes bunch up and It would make it harder to move them.  "clicking with both fingers" was also confusing at first but I got there in the end.  Full points for graphics though. It reminded me a lot of one of my favourite games from my childhood called Bugdom. Great job!

Interesting take on the Phasmophobia formula! Would love to see the game fleshed out a bit more.

Fighting plus DDR awesomeness! Hwope to see more!

We hid an Easter Egg in our game. It's pretty hard to find so I'll give a clue.

"aliens are alive when you arrive in the hive"

Unfortunately we didn't get to test the Linux version properly in time for the Jam release. It seems to works for some people and not for others.

But if we do continue with this prototype a proper Linux and Mac version will be one of the goals.

The character art and the visual style are awesome.

The zoomed out view of the map looked awesome, but I was a little disappointed when it zoomed in. Some more polish and this will be great!

Gave me the same vibe as the Oddworld Series!  Loved the sound and music, the weird and wonderful style please make more!

I didn't know what to do at the grub wall but its very cool to look at and when I encountered the magma roaches it dropped a few frames but it recovered quickly.

Loved the art and the the music! Bouthina is adorable, actually all the characters are great. The gameplay mechanic is really smart too.
