Nice game, too difficult for me, at least if you are meant to do each map in the first 1 to 3 tries, but I did complete all the campaign levels. I streamed it if you want to see it.

Thanks I appreciate you completing the game even if it was hard, is there anything in particular that gave you trouble? Balance has been an afterthought so far.

I streamed it if you want to see it.

Of course, could you link it?

I did enjoy the game, do not get me wrong, I just do not feel that I am playing it the way that this genre of games are meant to be played. But I am not experienced in this genre, and my expectations for your game specifically may be wrong.

This reminds me of police story. I really like it, but I'm not skilled enough. Also I'd prefer if I could keep playing after the hostage dies.

Developer

Thanks for playing, sorry the game is too hard, I should probably add a simpler campaign to ease people into the gameplay.

Fun!

Swat in 2d is a great idea. Regarding the demo, there's A LOT of actions and things to do, it got super overwhelming quick and i dont think players will remember all the things in the tutorial by doing them once. I would have prefered if you introduced things in levels and then had 1-3 levels on that one thing (grenades, commands, cover etc).

You got all the building blocks just need to smooth out the journey a bit. Good job, will follow!

Thanks for playing and I'm glad you found the game fun.

Good point on the learning curve, a couple of intermediate tutorial levels should do the trick

DD 53:

Content:
-Civilians and hostages.
-One new campaign with 3 new levels: Abandoned building, Necroterror, Potion Shot holdup
-3 New enemies: Necromancer, knight, skeleton (3 variants)

Improvements:
-Improved command UI with wheel selection. (with sensitivity options you can change)
-cosmetic improvements to all levels.
-minor editor improvements.
-Cosmetic improvements for Drug Bust Odyssey campaign.
-Autoreload for single shot weapons (bows)
-Partial reload (No need to complete the whole animations) for magazine weapons (except shotguns which reload shells individually anyway)

Known bugs:
-Move + use doesn't work correctly if the first squadmember isn't the one that has to use the equipment.
-Sometimes the volume slider gets stuck. Delete the options.dat file in ./GameData and it should fix itself.
