Hey yo!

I think your idea of interacting with the game via code is really cool. But I have to say I got a little lost in the coding interface and could not figure out how to progress^^.  I think the player needs a bit more direction, maybe open up different coding-options bit by bit.

But I think the concept definetly has potential! :)

Thank you.  Appreciate the feedback!

Hey folks! While I don't 'get' your game... it seems really cool! If I'm not wrong, you are giving the player a huge amount of freedom to program within the game... super neat.

Two small improvements could be made:
- I accidentally clicked the fullscreen button at the bottom right, but it doesn't work at all. It seems like you should disable this (I'm guessing it's in the itch.io settings for the game)
- well this isn't a small improvement, but it would be really cool to have a proper tutorial for a game like this. I don't happen to know enough about deeper coding to make sense of the interface, but it would be really interesting to learn!

Thanks for the heads up about the full screen bug.  Haven't had a chance to take care of it yet, but really appreciate it.

I must admit that I didn't understood well what I sould do with all the interfaces :/
Maybe I'll try some time laters when I have more free time :)

Dude, I have no idea how to play this game. I'm reading the rules and looking at the interface and all I am thinking of is a bunch of question marks.

The complexity of the interface is really overwhelming.

Developer

Appreciate the honesty.  I need to find a better way to present all of this or to get rid of it entirely.

Yeah, I would suggest making an in game tutorial and keep the programming options simple at first, at least in the beginning. Your visuals are at least really nice.

I reckon the AI went into the NPCs and the dog, they were bumping into each other a lot. And if the dog had AI, he just ran into the blocking warning sign and not into what seems to be an escape in the wall behind him. Seems to be bugged. Presentation is great pixel art, the idea of having to find and free a dog AI is pretty original. But since the AI didn't work for me i didn't really have fun with it, maybe i was just unlucky with the AI bugging out early for me. UI doesn't make any sense, the interaction button only opens what seemed to me like a hex based dev console.
