Track description | Creative process
I researched some of the synths and sounds used on the original soundtrack and tried to find emulations of similar synths. I also found that most of the tracks were in C minor, so made sure to use that too. I have uploaded a video of the arrangement playing in my DAW.

The sound design certainly matches the game, full marks there. I'm not a fan of the mix, particularly the crashing metal sounds starting around 1:20 definitely feel overused and overexposed to me. The composition is pretty good, I can definitely see this in metroid prime somewhere

You did your research and it paid off! I didn’t catch that there was a lot of C minor tracks - good catch! I really like the subtle percussive elements of your track along with the low alien-like warbles that add the sense of space-like exoticism that fits well with the Metroid Prime soundtrack. One thing I notice is that while you matched the sparse melodic parts of the soundtrack, there does seem to be quite a bit of harmonic movement when I compare it to other Metroid Prime tracks. Taking the sound you created though, I think it matches the original OST very well, so well done! Great work overall and thank you for sharing!

I bit too much chord based, (intro and from 2:08), I had an hard time avoiding this myself. The Sfx and synth sounds are well found.
