  • Persistent carbon idea is super cool. Among Us style minigames are great. Leaderboards are great features for games displaying at conventions. Some slight adjustments to tie the two levels together would be great but otherwise really well done. My favourite!
  • This is feasible within the timeframe and neatly connects behaviours at home with energy but it will need to be careful in the UX design and messaging player behaviour versus expectations. It is a great idea to connect players together via the sessions but to do so needs to ensure the play is simple enough that requires little tutorialisation. The home part worked well but the power plant did leave me with overlapping text and no clear idea how to progress. The video is great at explaining what should happen but few players would watch that in advance. Consideration would need to be given to how to message required player interaction and goals within game. A hi-score style table is great but would need to consider griefing - players could use just three letters to put less desirable names on the table. Overall this has some great ideas but a number of design challenges that would need overcome.
  • Very interesting to see the micro-games concept re-implemented in an educational way. Really like the overarching mechanic creating a sense of shared responsibility. Very well executed and presented!
  • This game has a great concept, really brining to life the personal and industry impact on carbon. The idea of passing on your carbon score is very original. The style and aesthetics are also great fun - this hit all parts of the brief! Of particular note is the creation of the video which was a great way to show the game to great effect. Could be developed with more mini-games to manage and more choices in your apartment to help further demonstrate that easiest way to decarbonise energy is through reduced consumption. Also, some of the team felt there is a bit of a disconnect between the two halves which could be improved.
  • Really enjoyed this game, the art is beautifully executed, feels charming and appropriate. There are some readability issues with text and overlaps though. Good onboarding experience and really easy to play. Really high quality overall!
  • Messaging and originality is great. The mechanics of having the previous player's decision affect the player coming next, is a good way to show the effect our choices have. UI looked good, but overlapped in places, making it hard to understand what to do.
