  • It's a whack-a-mole where you whack CO2. Classic. Starts slow, but by the time you have 4-5 factories releasing CO2, you get the pulse going. It's fun to compete against yourself, but the game doesn't really convey the messaging.
  • You managed to successfully tap into an addictive gameloop using a frantic and enjoyable game design. The gameplay isn't particularly original but you did well to align it with the brief and the tone required. More depth in the gameplay and some original touches would have elevated this entry.
  • Loved the sense of urgency and the intense gameplay!
  • Addictive and fun but aesthetic would need to be reconsidered - currently looks more like nuclear. The playability and choice of the nets, fans and hoovers, could be amended and strengthened/ aligned with CCS to improve the overall messaging. However, one of the easiest to pick up and play and the high score function makes it very suitable for a COP 26 audience. Children would enjoy this game.
  • A simple game that would work well on mobile. Would have to consider the screen alignment at any physical event or the use of the unused screen real estate, if played on normal screen. It's easy to understand with simple core mechanics that easily translate to encouraging just one more go. The artwork is sufficiently distinctive but it is not particularly novel or innovative. There is scope to make it more minimalist with a sketch/drawn black and white aesthetic that would match the mechanics well, using colour to make clearer points and pathways. Considerable work to do in adding the messaging. What is there currently is a little abstract and potentially confusing - e.g. capturing carbon in nets rather than butterflies. For a physical big screen even this would work well but would need to work with team on the messaging.
  • Addictive gameplay, well put together. The chimney animations were great. Overall I think it could work really well with some rebranding/theming to fit more with the SSE brief (chimneys look nuclear maybe?)

This was one of my favourite games - I love the urgency you created through the music and the increasing volume of carbon to capture.
