I like the idea of a sim game based on The Asylum and its ilk. The use of the theme is interesting. Very unfinished to the point of being unplayable, but there are some good ideas here.
Liked:
+ UI has a neat visual style
+ Ambitious management sim concept
+ Background music is greatNeeds work:
- Gameplay
- More direct communication of what is happeningThe curses-style UI is a neat look, to the extent that the interface is fleshed out. The background music is fantastic for a management sim, and kept me poking around trying things longer than I would have otherwise.
The randomly-assembled movie titles were somewhat entertaining, but not having corresponding mad-lib teasers was tragic. I guess I'll never figure out what "Emphasize, Threaten, and Fuck" or "The Furniture Part 4" are about...
Elevator pitch
You are a movie exec tasked with making unauthorized sequels of existing movies and cashing in on them.
Describe how your game adheres to the theme
It's about making sequels

It's a pity this isn't more finished. All I can say is my knee-jerk reaction was that the interface was really confusing as it didn't feel like my actions did much of anything. It's hard to tell if that's not just because things are so unfinished though, which is a pity.
The UI graphics and the soundwork are great, however!
I think this game needs a lot of work in the signposting department. It was very unclear what I was supposed to be doing. I saw movies were coming out, and then I could go to the movie DB tab and click make sequel.. But that took me to the projects page and I wasn't really sure where to go from there. That's a lot of pushing the user from tab to tab even if that's what I was actually supposed to be doing (I'm not sure that's the case..)
That said, the music was really nice.
I think pressing space displaying the ending and ending the game was a.. confusing choice. Especially when things are unclear as it is. It's natural people are going to be pressing buttons.
Cool concept, would love to see this finished.

Here & There
As far as I can see, all one can do is click on a movie in the DB and tell the game to do its thing while the game also does its thing by itself anyways. It's a bummer that this didn't work out, the music and UX are quite good and the idea is intriguing. I would have definitely gotten lost in a sim about movie sequel making. Better luck next time!
The movie titles and keywords were cool, I really liked the music most of all, especially the second song. I know there isnt much to do but just the UI, concept and music are exciting enough that I'd love to see this expanded on.
