THESE TERMS OF USE GOVERN YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH AWFUL JAMS. BY CLICKING ON THE "JOIN JAM" BUTTON at https://itch.io/jam/awful-summer-jam-2018 (the "Website") OR OTHERWISE PARTICIPATING IN AWFUL SUMMER JAM 2018, YOU ARE CONSENTING TO BE BOUND BY AND ARE BECOMING A PARTY TO THIS AGREEMENT. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO ALL OF THE TERMS OF THIS AGREEMENT, YOU MUST NOT PARTICIPATE IN AWFUL SUMMER JAM 2018.

You hereby make the following representations and agree to the below:

1. You warrant and represent that you are the owner of all intellectual property being uploaded to the Website or that you are authorized to upload any content to the Website and/or have permission from all owners to act on their behalf.
2. You warrant that you have properly credited all creators of said intellectual property as necessary.
3. You grant the Website a royalty-free, perpetual, and irrevocable license to post your content and use your content in any way. You remain the owner of all intellectual property associated with your content.
4. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Awful Jams and any of Awful Jams' agents, assigns, beneficiaries, or successors in interest from any damages or attorneys' fees associated with your breach of this Agreement.
5. You agree to be bound by and abide by the Rules of Awful Summer Jam 2018, listed on the Website.
6. You acknowledge that rewards for winning entries are not guaranteed and will be given out at the sole discretion of the judges.

Awful Jams Community Rules and Conduct
You're expected to have read these before chatting. "I didn't read them" is not a defense for breaking the rules.

Do not insult, harass, or demean anyone.

Nothing even remotely risque outside of NSFW channels. This includes IRL gore and sexual content. Even within NSFW channels explicit pornography is not allowed. When in doubt, if you wouldn't stream it on Twitch, don't post it anywhere in this Discord.

Harsh criticism of a person’s work or work ethic is allowed and encouraged, so long as it does not violate rule one. (Insulting one’s work is not considered insulting that person, within reason)

Do not bring outside drama into the community.

Personal issues between members of the community should be dealt with between the affected parties. Instigating or participating in fights will result in punishment for all parties involved.

No talk of politics, with an exception of politics with direct relation to the video game industry. (Political topics can be discussed in NSFW channels)

Assume everyone in the community has the best of intentions. Do not automatically assume malicious intent.

If you are being disturbed or harassed by anyone within the community, do not engage with the offending party; instead contact a moderator or organizer.

Post in this community as you would in a laid back but professional environment; do not say or do anything you wouldn’t in front of a chill boss.

This is not SomethingAwful and if you post with a "GBS" mentality, you're probably going to end up in Baby-Jail.
