Extremely enveloping hypertext adventure. The music and text effects add a lot to the mood without getting overwhelming. Excellently researched too. Every time the game offers a choice, the outcome of that choice is difficult to parse in a way that sells the protagonist's difficult place of authority.

Great WW1 themed story. I liked the use of the dead witches as a form of progression, and the descriptions/hauntings are great pieces of horror.

Personally, I found some of the segments a little long-winded and could've been broken up a bit more into slightly more digestible pieces. But overall this is a brilliant VN, I think it's just the right length too.
