Some very nice graphics and animation kept me in the game for a while. Probably needs to be more of a sense of peril with the NPCs though. A pretty vast game space given gam jam time restraints, thoughI ended up on a lower level with no apparent place to go. Game has definitely got potential!!
The character is very well done!
Otherwise, I can’t tell much about this game as there seems to be a lot of stuff missing. Enemies don’t hurt the character and we don’t really know what to do. The exploration is fun though.

Thanks for the feedback, we appreciate it a lot :) The core of our team will be working on the game until we’re satisfied with it and I will be posting devlogs in the meantime. This attempt to make a metroidvania was a challenge we couldn’t bring to completion in 2 weeks but the fun and the feedback we had has motivated us to make it a better game!
The player looks great and the bones are there for good platforming. Dashing is fun. I’d like to see this when it’s fleshed out.
Having the menu there all the time is a little distracting If you alternate jump and dash you can fly
