How does your game represent Mode?
Cosmode represents Mode musically and mechanically. Good performance in the game rewards you by switching to different music tracks composed in different musical modes, of which there are seven in the game. Additionally, each enemy has a particular mode of movement, determined by the musical mode, cycling between three behaviors. Your weapon spray also has its offset determined by one of four modes.
Understanding the game requires getting a grasp on the variations between each mode.

Music is totally fire. This is the only jam game I've found too easy so far, virtually every other one I've tried has been too hard (or I'm just a scrub that needs to git gud). I wanted more of this!
Love how you can shoot the credits!
Shoot shoot shoot those fire guys! They all need to die because I have a space ship.
The idea of the game changing as you do better is really cool! The enemy patterns were a bit subtle so maybe a color change would convey it better.
I really enjoy what you did with the theme! My team originally wanted to try and do that using the radio in the game but just struggled to figure out how to make it work. I will say that the gameplay loop was a bit simple, but the music was really poppin
You did a great job following the theme, but it doesn't feel like I have much agency in the game. I find it difficult to tell the difference between the different shooting and enemy modes, and since there's only one enemy the difficulty doesn't really change. The random firing also makes it feel like my skill at the game isn't very important, since I can't aim with precision. The music is good, and the alterations for each mode are interesting to discover.
