I'm glad you enjoyed our small little mechanics we sprinkled in here and there! The climbing up walls mechanic was actually the thing that got us going in the direction we did, little happy accident. I'm glad you enjoyed flying around and those are some high praise games to be compared to! Very appreciate it and thanks for playing :)

Sorry you couldn't play! I appreciate you trying

I'm glad you really enjoyed the game! The good ending takes a bit of exploration and listening to the tapes to figure out so don't worry about your skill! Thanks for the kind words for the map, it was my first time making enviro art and map making in unreal so it was a very scary endeavor.

As for the  sounds, I do agree that audio is a bit too quiet and I wish we had more time to get more sounds in there. There was car sounds (and bad drifting sounds) and sirens so I wonder if you had one of our audio bugs where the game doesn't start with all the sounds on. Even still the lack of audio is definitely felt by the team! Thanks for playing :)

Thanks for playing and I'm glad you enjoyed the game! It really means a lot seeing someone enjoy the cops, we've been getting a lot of either too easy or too hard, so just right is wonderful :) I think this is the first time someone commented on the falling boulders! I was worried just the straight drive up was going to be boring so I appreciate that the hazards didn't go unnoticed! I originally set it up so that when it starts raining, the car starts getting slippery, but the team wanted to murder me for making the final stretch almost impossible lol

I hope that we can get music into the game in the future! We were worried about DMCA so we ended removing what we did have.

I think this game has solid bones and fun sprite work, overall I enjoyed playing the game! Something I'd say though is I feel that the game would benefit with a bit  player agency. Even though I can choose my modes of attack, I feel it would be more rewarding if I was to be the one to attack myself.

This gives power wash simulator vibes! Very fun and clean and I'm particularly impressed by how well the 2D grass looks when you mow it. Very solid and very enjoyable.

This was a wonderful game! I really enjoyed the speed that the character runs, but I will say that the gravity is really fast and sometimes feels unnatural. I also had issues with the spikes being very unforgiving and hard to see on the background. I also found that full screen lets you see more of the game which was super helpful when platforming around. Last critique, I think the game would immensely benefit with controller support.

Otherwise, the game looks and sounds great! The pixel art is really solid and the animations are clean. I really like the main character herself in terms of design and changes she goes through in the game. The music was also straight up amazing!

This was a ton of fun! Super simple but super straight to the point. It was difficult at first getting used to the controls but once I did, it was smooth sailing. All those years of playing CoD zombies trained me for this lol

I'm glad you enjoyed the movement and graphics! If it wasn't obvious, those were our die on a hill points. Glad you enjoyed it and I'll for sure check out your game :)

I'm glad you liked the physics! The original plan was to make it kinda Bennet Foddy-ish with rough controls and a hard goal, but midway through we made the change to it being more casual so I'm glad it paid off. And yeh , the voice acting was a ton of fun lol

Thanks! I appreciate you playing the game:) I’m excited to where the game goes from here

I'm glad we didn't disappoint! Thanks for keeping up the games progress :)

Sorry about that audio bug! I didn't notice it until after the jam ended so I was hoping no one noticed ~

Glad you enjoyed everything else :)

(1 edit)

I'm glad you had fun and went for the tapes! Hope you found them all :D we had fun making them~

Reiterating these disclaimers:

Disclaimer: We discovered that the game's radio is still accessible by pressing either "1" or "Left Shoulder". If you'd like to hear music while playing you can, though if you are streaming or making a video for YouTube, be weary. All music is Content ID free from the Pixabay community license, however, we noticed that YouTube still content id's the music anyway. Please be careful~

Make sure to disable Shadowplay. We have experienced glitching with the menus with it on. Also in case you don't have any audio for the game, fiddle with the master audio settings! For some reason some people's audio doesn't work immediately. Sorry about that!

I hope you found all the tapes and found the good ending! Thanks for playing :)

Thanks! We straight up killed ourselves trying to get this done in time and we're super proud of what we were able to accomplish :D As the UI designer and programmer, I take pride in your compliment on the UI. Thanks for playing~

I'm happy to hear that you had fun drifting around! The cop AI is fairly simple so they definitely will need a redux one of these days and yeh, we hope we can get a solid soundtrack in there too :D

I'm glad you were compelled finish the game the whole time!

Grampa will live on in our hearts

I'm glad you had fun with the cops! They happened by accident and when we saw the way the cops were, they were sealed in lol It's beyond heartwarming hearing it compared to GTA, really appreciate it :D

Interesting, with that in mind, I think I do notice a bit of tire lean. I don't think I noticed it before because I'm usually swerving all over the place and rarely just driving so this went under my radar. Thanks for your feedback!

I'm glad you enjoyed the game and thanks for playing! Could you elaborate on what was giving you issue when driving? It would be very helpful for future updates~

The badman seems so sad lol I enjoyed the punchout vibes this game has and the overall style is bleeding all over the game!

The art of the game is wonderful and the way the game is framed is very well done. I couldn't get very far just because I struggled with the controls of most of the movement changes and the rapid changing made it more difficult to learn the different modes. Very neat and beautiful to look at though!

I hope you can further along with this game! The music and the art has promise, It'd be really nice to see what the original vision was :)

I really liked the art of the characters in this! The issue I mostly had was that I felt the character movement was a bit slow, but otherwise, I enjoyed the game

This broughtme back to playing old browser or old school cd games when i was younger. Can't remember exactly what the games were called, but it felt quite nostalgic

I'm talking about how having to manage your ammo in between firing sessions. Having to give up attacking to watch the hordes of aliens get closer to invading then shooting relentlessly after reloading is a pretty intense feeling lol

I appreciate that you like the little details we added into the game :) The physics was something we made sure to try and iron as soon as possible so I'm glad it was solid. Thanks for playing~

I'm glad you like it! We had music originally but sadly even though it was royalty free, Youtubes Content ID system flagged my trailer for the game so last  minute we ditched the music so that we wouldn't be disqualified for accidently DMCA striking Dunkey. I'm glad you enjoyed the rest though!

I was a bit confused with this just being pacman up until the switch! Really nice inclusion and good twist to the formula~

This has big TABS energy, not bad ~

The level design was pretty stellar, it did very well teaching through its innate design without needing much outside assistance. I will say, it was fun but i did get soft locked in the first wind level :)

That was great! I got vibes of Celeste and Breath of the Wild (ie the runes), not bad games to be reminded of when playing a game! The platforming felt really nice and solid. Great submission

This is a solid start for sure! I liked the little bit of style that did show up in this game. As the other person say, I think you guys will do well in the next jam as long as you keep a good idea of time management :) I noticed for this jam (I've only been in a weekend jam prior) that I felt like I had all the time in the world to make something insane and caused myself to overscope, so lesson learned~

This was one of the better shifting games I've played so far in the jam! I liked the variety of minigames and I particularly enjoyed the dating sim portion. Good stuff~

I can't believe that you somehow managed to make a game about flipping a switch feel so engaging and like theres something to it at a meta level. Very fun and neat lil experience

Not a bad submission! I think the resource management is neat however, I think the massive difficulty curve is rough. It from 0 to 60 real fast and I really couldn't defend very well almost immediately. Otherwise, the simplicity of the game is fun

I'm going to echo the same feelings as the rest, I think that the game was a bit confusing but once i got it, I was pretty neat for sure! The art i think is the best part. I did enjoy how the music relied on the clothes. Trying to use music to convey mode was clever, something my team tried to do so we ended up pivoting so seeing someone actually do it is always nice :)

This was difficult but so very charming! Really fun game. Love the music and the art
