How does your game represent "Power"?
The theme of this game isn’t power, but rather the lack thereof. You struggle to hold on to it, and it’s fleeting sense dawns on you as you lose power over your puppets, eventually losing the game

I'm going to be covering this game but unsure if the game doesn't have sound - is everything working on my end?

Developer(+1)

Yes, unfortunately we didn’t have time to add sound :(

I really like the take on the theme and the micromanagement is satisfying to me. Feels like there's a really fun idea here and I hope you keep iterating to make it the best!

Developer

Thank you! Working on it :D

This stress/management concept is something I haven’t seen so far in this jam! The shuffle animation reminded me of the default fortnite dance emote haha. A few notes from my playthrough:

  • Instructions would have been helpful. I eventually figured out I had to click/doubleclick, but I had no idea what I was doing at first
  • Being able to control other puppets while the previous one moves into position would help the game feel a bit more frantic
  • The pictures were hard to decipher which I’m not sure if you were going for or not

Writing this review while my own wooden mannequin sits on my desk staring at me menacingly

Thank you! Greatly appreciate the feedback, we'll definitely take these into consideration :)

A bit buggy but this is a very clever take on the theme

Thank you so much, hopefully with more time we'll release even better titles! !:)
