I like the style, old school CRT type interface! Also kept me interested in finding out what happens next. Nicely done :) Good luck in the jam, buddy! Hope to see more from you in the future.

P/S: Is there more after the incident at launch? I kept trying different words, but couldn't progress further.

Developer

No, that is the intended ending. The existential horror that this launch is doomed from the start and every restart means another crew dies.

This game was a bit confusing at first, I read your comment below after the fact. I really liked the concept, good job!

Developer

Thank you for playing! In hindsight I understand the game asked too much for players without giving them much to work with, especially if you're not accustomed to text adventures. Glad you liked it! :)

I'm not sure what commands to type. I wish you could've gave an example of a command, because I am confused. Anyways, I gave originality 3 stars because of the fact that it's in space, but I'm not sure that qualifies as horror. I gave execution 1 star because of the fact that it lacks tutorial, I literally had no idea what to do at the start of the game. I gave charm 2 stars, I like the design, but I wish there were more colors. Lastly, I gave spookiness 1 star. I find nothing spooky about this at all.

Developer

Thank you for giving this a shot. Figuring out what commands to type is part of the challenge and this game assumes you have experience with text adventures. There is some prompting in the UI (for instance, the empty checkboxes next to each engine) and in text adventure tradition  you can type "help" to get a hint about what you should be doing.

The spooky part comes at the end :)

thank you, I will sure be giving this another go soon.
