Simple and fun!
I liked it, the shooting works good, would've been nice if the game was a bit longer and possibly a bit harder, but overall great job!

Simple, fun, nice. Cool art, overall I liked it, even though it was way too short, I have a copy of gamemaker that I never really used since I didn't like the ui, but this is really cool.

A nice game with simplistic nature.  One of the few I actually managed to finish. You could work more on effects and other little thing which can make it feel more game-like. The gravity seems a bit off and you can probably increase the difficulty a bit. Nice work though!

Thanks for the feedback! I’ve gotten a few other people to say something like that, and I’m confident I can improve! Thanks again.

Nice start, the jumping felt a bit too floaty and kinda hoped the game would move to a other section after the shooting part

I even thought the game was top down at the beginning

Nice game.
There could be a bit of cooldown when shooting... feels like a bit too much.
Nice start on sound and art. There could be a higher variety of different sounds or something. You can pitch one sound by a random value to get more variety. Nice work!

Nice work. I would recommend working on the "game feel". So when you kill an enemy maybe the screen shakes and a loud sound is played. details like that go a long way. also, maybe try a system where you shoot where you click on the screen. I think that would give more control to the player.  If you could check out my game that would be awesome. Here's the link: https://itch.io/jam/blackthornprod-game-jam-1/rate/319010
