I like the minimalistic look(i like B/W). Even without a tutorial I understood the mechanics in a few seconds. I liked the bounces and enemies. simple and good.
Even a little sound of shooting would be really great and a little delay at the start of level would be good.

At some point game stopped to respond to movement commands. It restored later, but the was no reasons for both of this event.
Also, you can get inside of the shielded area of the boss enemy, but you can't really shot inside.
I liked bullet physics and animation in the game! It feels like this game might be a lo of fun if you'd have more time for level building and overall polish

Thank you so much for your comment! It was impossible to shoot inside the square, as it would be very easy to defeat the boss. I will definitely add instructions to the exercise.
Well, if you don't want player to shoot inside this box, not let the player to get inside then :)
You can just add second type of the wall that lets projectiles through, but not a playrer character. This will fix this problem better and will be more obvious for a player that invisible "no shooting" zone
