This was a nice take on the theme! I usually fire blindly in these types of games but quickly saw the error of my ways.  The minimalist artstyle was really good too.

This game was really interesting. You made my own weapons my enemies. If this had sound and music, I would have given it a straight 5/5. for now it's a 4/5 for me. I still had a lot of fun playing this game. Thanks for the game!

It really needs the music and sounds, it would make a huge difference (just find some 8-bit sounds and songs on the yt library and it will do the trick)...

Anyway, this is probably one of the best ideas I came across so far. If the bullets you shot would bounce for a little big longer, it would maybe get more exciting and challenging.

I also like the simple look of it, but at the same time having the bullets fly across with motion blur.

I am also happy it worked in browser so well without any lag.

I thought I was gonna totally cheese that first boss but you considered it made it so that I cannot fire within the square when he blocks outside bullets, which was a very clever design for that boss. :)

The health was cool how it was actually the player itself! Very cool design! I bet if you had more time you could put in some sound and music! Nice job!!

It took me awhile to understand the health. 

I can see this game being pretty good; the main thing that the game lacks is polish.

If the game had particle effects when you hit enemies, if the game had a "pew" sound when you shot and stuff like that, this game would be mad fun, but withouth these player feedbacks it just feels a bit lackluster to shoot and move around
