This became one of my favorites almost immediately. The only thing I struggled with was figuring out the theme. The gameplay became a little repetitive too. But the art was breath taking, the animations were so smooth, and the music and sound effect were perfection! That piano key strike when hit by an enemy matched with the overall game music beautifully! Great work!

This was absolutely amazing and totally underrated! Find my video review:

Thank you for the review Bastian! I had a blast watching you play the game :D

The color change in a simple transition shader, the same as for a circular in-out black screen when you go through a door in many games.

Then I just give this shader a texture that's made with a watercolor brush, and ta-da ! :D As simple as that

I'm in love with the graphics of this game. They seem almost painted and the subtle change of tone, makes for a story without words. Great work!

Absolutely the best looking game!!!! Audio was also great, and this really exemplifies the theme of less is more. Fantastic job! I'd appreciate if you could rate my game, Dr. Maniacal's Monster Maker, as well!
