nice game, music was a bit soft. only problem I encounter is, klicking on the lower part of the planet sometimes made me build something I was not planning to. have a feeling I sometimes selected something in menu when building something different.
feel free to try-out and rate my game.

It was a well made game. The mechanics are pretty simple and in general I love strategy games. The only concert was the music was too quiet. Overall I enjoyed it.
It's a little unclear what does what, like I would take damage and not know why and some other things were weird to me but overall its a good game with some great music.
Little hard to understand what I was doing in the beginning, would've liked a tutorial but definitely a solid entry
I had quite some fun and when I got the mechanics I was Invincible ;P
Really cool concept (reminds me one game :D). Music didn't push me to turn off it and graphics are eye-pleasing.
Unfortunately, there is no point I would come to it, game is fun, but it always leads me to defeat, because of e.g. buildings that destroys my planet.
Nice entry although, keep it up!
I see where the inspiration came from, i real liked the art and thought it was put together well! :)
Looks like a Blackthornprod game for a Ludum Dare.
But graphics is cool and overall looks great!
Reminded my somehow at the game from Blackthornprod for the Ludum Dare.
Handling the resources felt a little weird. Escpecially having to less CO2. And the space is also a little too small because my planet got clustered way too fast.
But I have to say graphics, music and sound effects are good.
I'm relieved you enjoyed the graphics, music, and sound effects. These areas are definitely not my strong suit, but I am glad you felt otherwise!
As far as handling resources and managing space goes, I now realize that these elements definitely could have been balanced a lot better than they have been. Thank you for the feedback.
Also, I definitely took inspiration from Blackthornprod's game "Evolution". It absolutely was what sparked my idea to create a game about managing s planet's atmosphere. However I intended for the game to play much differently, and hope I achieved that goal!
Thanks again!
You are welcome.
I hope you give my game a try too and maybe leave a rating ;)
This was a LOT of fun, the art is great, and (once I got the hang of it) watching the astroids get annihilated felt really rewarding.
I only really have two complaints...
One: I didn't understand how to play at first, (but after I got the hang of it, it was really fun) I didn't realize the thing in the top was my health, I thought it was some sort of timer, and I still don't know how getting more gears work, but that didn't really stop me from playing it. I also didn't realize that to many trees would kill me, which kind of makes since, being that humans can't survive if there is to much oxygen, but still.
Two: At a certaint point the game just kind of goes on, and you can't lose. After you have enough drones in the sky, the game just can't end, the astroids can never get to you, in my second playthrough I was able to set up the world in time and last infinatly. I was just able to phase out for 10 or more minutes after getting to that point, and let it run, without having any challange at all. I would suggest either having some sort of win condition, or making so mechanic to increase danger, where you will always eventually lose, rather than just sitting their watching the planet doing nothing.
Now, other than that, this game was a lot of fun, I just feel like some sort of ending would have been nice, some sort of closure rather than me just turning it off after realising it wasn't going to end.
Thank you for trying out my game, and for the feedback.
I'm glad you had fun and I completely agree with both of your complaints. I had a lot of trouble making the game intuitive to the player and it definitely does not have a win condition built in. Both of these elements were more of an afterthought than an integral part of the game throughout it's development.
I hope to work harder on both of these aspects in my next game.
Btw - The way you get more gears is by having more cats on the planet at one time. Each cat gives you a certain amount of gears per second. The way you get more cats is by keeping your O2 and CO2 levels in the "healthy zone". Again this is far from intuitive, but just a heads up for anyone else who wants to try out this game!
