How did you/your team interpret the theme?
We intepreted it as heroes exist in the world, but you are not one of them, which is why we decided to go with an NPC selling items to the heroes

How was your/your team's experience in this jam?
Seeming as some of us had other commitments and the others had no prior game dev experience, i say pretty fun

I like the concept, but art is kinda blurry, and gameplay isn't interesting for me...

The font (size, colour, style) of your buttons make it hard for me to read what's written. The buttons in general are quite small as well.

I really liked the start animation though! Caught me off guard and it was a nice cool touch.

The concept is interesting and the visuals are alright but I feel that the execution of your idea (gameplay) was lacking. It was hard to determine what to do and what was going on. Personally, it took me a while before understanding what I needed to do. The gameplay wasn't as rewarding as I thought it would be since I really liked how you wanted to interpret the theme in your game.

Thank you for joining the jam and I wish you learned something from it as well! Congratulations on your submission!!

I like the idea of giving the quests away, but the gameplay feels boring. I would like to know what the sword and wand-nunchuck-club is tho

Hi! it seems like we both had similar ideas in that you would help the heros, but its cool to see how differently we took that path! I think the idea is really cool, but i think more clarity would be useful. It felt kind of random as to whether or not npcs would succeed in a quest, and i didn't really understand what was going on in the item menu. I'm also not sure how much rent is needed, as it kind of seemed like my money would just go up and down at random points. however, i really liked the animations, and the pixel art was fun ! great job overall!
