I liked the idea of it being a balancing act, but I think making things a little more fast paced and maybe adding sound would add a lot! overall though its  cute lil game!

i like the idea a lot! it was interesting to see stats attributed and linked to towers!

i hope you're feeling better after getting covid, but i really liked the pixel art!

thanks so much for playing and I'm super glad you enjoyed it! it's great to hear the length was right. and thanks for the feedback! that stuff was on the list to do but i just got a bit tired towards the end and needed to rest, haha. glad you liked it!

I just wanna say that the problem isn't even that big, like even if it was kinda annoying and I couldn't beat it, it was definitely one of the most fun jam games I've ever played !!!

how do i run the file?

interesting! foxy is really cute!

great job!

this is really fun and cute! very great to just throw em about. I wish there was a lil more too it but honestly great prototype and i'd love to see it fleshed out.

I can't get it to work/load :<

first of all, i really liked the art and music being so weird! it had a really cool vibe to it. I was a bit confused about the actual gameplay though, i think i got the hang of it, but it was hard to find direction. great job all around though! definitely memorable.

also you might wanna take down the .exe upload since it only works if u download the other file

great job on your first game! i hope you make more in the future :>

ok damn. this is so awesome, it's such a fun concept done really dang well. the whole idea is silly but cute and linus is really funny as a subject for a 'pet' game, and the kicking to france is a great idea. i really loved the way the music evolved as well! that detail really made me smile. One thing I would critique is the overshot; i couldn't beat the game because on the 3rd or 4th level i either completely overshot, or some mushroom just randomly popped up and made me overshoot, and after 15 minutes on that one part i kinda just gave up, but even then i had fun!

great job!

i liked the sounds a lot, and the lighting effect for different times of day was really neat! i loved the designs of the pets, but maybe some more interactivity with them would be nice?

thanks so much for the feedback! yeah, it was really fun to do an FMV game, and I really wanted it to have a clear beginning and end. The minigames are definitely a little jank so thats something I would def wanna go back and change a bit. thanks for the pointer about the readability; I did have on a list to do to work out more of that but just got a bit pushed to time. thanks so much for playing!

this is really awesome! the art and atmosphere was amazing, and i could totally see some really interesting story coming out of this if you were able to do more with it. i really wanna know more about what happened at the end!

HELL YEAH SNAKE

Gotta say, this really made me chuckle. felt really great just being like. nope! bye!

it's really pretty! i don't really get how to play though, and the resolution on the screen was weird so i couldn't actually see the sides

we had a similar sort of idea, but i really like how you did it! great job!

This was really cool! i think there was a lot of text on the screen sometimes but apart from that I really liked it!

thanks so much for playing the game! I'm glad you caught the celeste reference. i was running out of time and i felt the strawberry didn't look close enough, so thats nice to hear. yknow, it didn't occur to me as describing using robing hood would have implications, so thats on me not doing enough proofreading. my thoughts about the kingson was that you were kinda supposed to be like. well hes a kid so.. maybe no swords,  but i think maybe i could have made it more obvious he wasn't necissarily to be listened to exactly, and more of a make a better judgement. thanks for all the feedback! i do hope to clean up the ui as well too eventually.

thanks so much for playing! I'm glad you enjoyed the visuals; I hadn't worked on the art side of a game before. It may be small, but i do think the button thing you mention is a good idea. thanks so much for the feedback!

awesome! i'll def check it out again then

thanks so much! i'm glad you liked it -Dexter

Hi! huge fan of the idea; i love sentai and tokusatsu so it was really fun to see a game themed on that. Being the monster in both of the gameplay style was fun, but it felt more like the not being the hero part was just to do with visuals. though, i really loved the art! the characters were fun and very well done;  i do wish the grids were more aligned in the boss fight part. overall, great job! i had a very fun time completing it.

I think there could be more puzzles that can't be solved by just clicking everything, and that would add a lot, but i liked the idea of kinda the puzzle cube you could solve!

I loved the visuals and premise of the game, but unfortunately i was kinda stuck as to how to actually proceed. if it were made more clear, i bet i would love this game so much, but great job with the presentation!

omg i love the art so much! i had a bit of trouble getting that far into the game because at some points i just couldn't leave the dialogue, but the concept was really cool and once again the art was amazing. great job all in all!!!

I'm glad it got some chuckles out of you! Thank you so much; and I do agree on the music. the way we implemented it made it hard to try to include music because of time limitations, but its definitely on the top of my list if we work on it more. Thanks so much! - Dexter

Thank you so much! I'm glad you liked the descriptions! - dexter

Thanks for playing! I'm glad you liked the descriptions. We noticed that issue, and maybe we should have fixed it, but I personally found it kind of funny; the mysterious pendant was a reference to an item from the original dark souls that was completely useless and just there as a joke and so when it was difficult to select, it felt kind of fitting. we definitely want to work on making the shop menu a bit more easy to use, so thanks for the feedback! - dexter

thanks so much nillin!!! <3 -dexter

omg thanks for all the great feedback! i think thats a fantastic idea. I'm considering working it on more in the future, and that sounds like something id def love to implement. thanks for the the idea and i'm glad you enjoyed it!

WOW i dont think i can like give much feedback this is just amazing holy !!!!

Wow! This was really neat! the presentation was great and the music was catchy, and the idea was entertaining. i liked the puzzles, and it felt like there was a lot to learn in how to manipulate the knight. it was really damn hard and i wasn't able to finish it, but i think you did a great job. it also took the theme in an interesting direction, you made the player feel more like an enemy at the wim of the hero, not like a hero just dressed up as not a hero.

I was impressed you managed to do something story based in a week long thing! also, i really liked the character portraits, they were charming :>

Really great job on this!!! I wish there were sounds and more to it, but you did a fantastic job. i wanted to mention one of the biggest thoughts i had while playing this. It felt really cool being part of the hoard, but i found that at the start of the game, the best thing to do was to play really passively and avoid all danger, not taking risks and only going for the easiest of targets, then leetting the ai battle it out since most of the time i would jsut increase my numbers and points . This was cool, but i can't tell if it was the intention, and if it wasn't, i think it would be something to consider; whether that means making changes that make that idea more fun, like having that be the focus, or making that strategy less viable, and having it be more like left alone, the zombies would easily get killed without your help. great job overall!

hey! this one was really damn cool. I loved the music, and the tutorial was really damn good. The vibes were great; and there was one thing that really stood out to me. in a lot of the games in this jam, they really make you feel like youre not the hero, but the difference in your game was that it made me feel like i wasn't a hero. i dont know if that makes sense, but that was really cool to me, and made it stand out a whole bunch. I loved the charcter design and art in general too! I got 3 of the endings, but i have no clue how you'd get the other ones. Biggest complaint though is just the clicking part, it didn't really feel necissary. maybe having a timer on the customers could do the same thing better? Great job overall! i really really loved this one.
