How did you/your team interpret the theme?
The theme didn't really inspired us but here's what we think of : The player helps the hero on his journey. The player does not directly control the hero's actions but can influence them, for example by opening a path to an object for him to take. The player has a set of items to place at the start of each level. Then, the game is simulated, the hero will go to the nearest entity and acts with it, for example he will lookup for a weapon if it's accessible, will attack the closest enemy or will leads to the door if it's nearest than something else.
How was your/your team's experience in this jam?
Not simple with some motivations loss which led me to finish in a hurry the game at the end of the deadline, that's why the game looks pretty unfinished (lack of music and interesting levels) but we have at least something to show.
