really cool idea for a game, but I had a lot of little gripes with it.
attacking midair downwards feels very sluggish, like there's a lot of end lag to the attack. I feel like I'd get hit a lot after bouncing off an enemy, because I'd expect I could just bounce off them again, but the massive end lag fucks up my timing.
Absorbing the blood of your enemy is a cool mechanic, but it feels because of the purity system it's best to just avoid absorbing as much blood as you can, which is unfortunate. I wish that like absorbing blood but not using it to heal you would give you a powerful but temporary damage multiplier or something, while still at the cost of lowering your purity.
I'd love to see this game as a fully fleshed out concept, as it visually looks awesome and has the groundwork for something great, but I think it might just need some more polish and reworks to the mechanics and game play.
