"The only problems it's the fact that it eventually ends"

Very fun game, love the "constrained" gameplay, at first it feels like it's limiting your actions, but it becomes a strategic device that you already mastered by the 2nd fight. Loved the music, simple, looped, but it doesn't feel too repetitive. Very cool dialogue too, funny bosses and a bit of wise words. Only thing I can point out, I would've like to see more closely the models, they're cool. Like in the last fight, that dialogue feels more like a cutscene. Since during gameplay, the camera is far away, seeing the characters with more close-ups while they speak can add to immersion and characterization.

Fun roguelike game, but I encountered several bugs and annoyances.

  1. Sometimes, when going through the blood portal (after defeating a boss or leaving the Patron) the portal disappears but I remain.
  2. Controls felt a little janky. Sometimes, I'd hold down a button (e.g. <K>) and nothing would happen, making me have to release it and then press it again.
  3. The intro menu screen (where you can select Fullscreen) felt awkward to navigate.
  4. Was rather annoyed by the fact that touching bosses would damage you, even if the boss is just remaining still and doing nothing. Of special note was when the mole in the mines turns into a flying bug. It was a nuisance to hit that flying bug because I'd have to jump up to hit it but would end up touching it and taking damage.
