How does your game fit the theme?
Its more about the psychological kinda thing. idk doors bro

Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
I wrote all the code besides from a free to use shader i used for a distortion effect on text. All the art was drawn by me. I didnt compose the songs used in the game but they are public domain since they are like 100+ years old.

Beautiful game, I loved the graphics and animations in the top. I thought the decision to have healing pickups be black was super cool, it forced me to keep looking around the screen. The gameplay was pretty tough, I managed to get through the level with all the insults after a lot of tries, but couldn't get through the doors level :(

For posting your download, I recommend zipping the .pck and .exe into one file. On windows you can do so by selecting both files > right click > send to > compressed folder.

uh i mightve made a lil oopsie the healths were supposed to be visible lol, thanks for the suggestion about the zip ill have to change it in a bit. glad you enjoyed it

The game itself isn't bad, the graphics are really nice, in terms of gameplay I would have added a command to slow down the player's speed, otherwise it's a really nice game.

Developer

yeah i cant def add something like that thanks for playing
